MD/PhD Program

The Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University introduced an MD/PhD program in 2007 to increase communication between basic scientists and health-care providers. The program seeks to train individuals as clinician-scientists who will pursue research as a major priority. Graduates will be well-prepared for leadership roles in integrated research initiatives, particularly those involving interdisciplinary and translational health research endeavours.
